This Turkish text translates a work which had been composed in Latin, by a character who describes the decadence of the Sefevi monarchy, from the reign of Shah ʿAbbas II (1052-1077 AH = 1642-1667), the invasions of the Afghans until the defeat of Shah Sultan Hoseïn, and until the enthronement of Ashraf Khan (1722); this character is Father Judasz Tadeusz Krusinski, whose account was translated into Turkish, by Ibrahim Moutafarrika, under the title تاريخ سيّاح د ظهو اغوانيانى و سبب انهدام بناء دولت شاهانى, and completed in June 1729. Turkish binding, in stamped and gilded red leather.
