PHAIDRA is an innovative university system for storing and managing digital objects. It allows university faculty and staff to enter their scientific studies, publications and other documents into the system and permanently archive them. Doctoral, master's, diploma theses and other unpublished or published works can be stored in the system, fully respecting copyrights. In addition, important documents and different types of digital objects such as images, audio documents, video recordings, links can be stored for educational, scientific, administrative and organizational studies at the University. Objects are defined by standardized metadata and searchable by all fields; While metadata can be changed, the object itself cannot. Each object receives a permanent link (identifier) ​​so it can be cited, and objects can be combined into collections with a unique link for easy sharing. Active use of the system is open to all University employees, certain students and others with the necessary authority. Authorized users have privileges to store and manage objects and set access rights (public or restricted); however, metadata is always visible to all Internet users. Legal regulations regarding copyright protection and simple licensing models are integrated into the system. In line with the principles of integrity, authenticity, interoperability, reliability and accessibility, data in the PHAIDRA system; It is archived for a long time, permanently secured, classified, identified with metadata and accessible worldwide at any time. PHAIDRA stores the data necessary for research, teaching and organizational work at the University, allowing data management, flexible use of resources and easy discovery of stored digital objects.
