University of Bielefeld Library

Founded in 1969, the central library of Bielefeld University is one of the most important general libraries not only of the university but of the entire East Westphalia-Lippe region, with its collection of approximately 2 million books and journals. A library where 95% of its collection is presented on open shelves arranged by subject in reading rooms. The institution, which provides its registered users with 24/7 access to electronic texts from all over the world, has adopted its corporate philosophy as "INFORMATION.plus!" shaped by the principles of "Innovation is Our Tradition, Service is Our Commitment". collected under its brand.
