Lebanese American University Library

LAU (Lebanese American University) is home to three libraries: the Riyadh Nassar Library (RNL/Beirut), founded in 1934, the Joseph G. Jabbra Library (JGJL/Byblos), founded in 1987, and the Health Sciences Library (HSL/Byblos), founded in 2013. This library network prides itself on the dissemination of knowledge through its outstanding collections, innovative technologies and dedicated staff, and provides a conducive environment for teaching and research. LAU Libraries' print collection is strongly supported by electronic resource subscriptions; It provides access to approximately 400,000 printed materials, 600,000 e-books, 136,810 e-magazines and 180 online databases. Services extend beyond existing collections to interlibrary loans and research support; All departments are dedicated to assisting users not only in accessing information but also in developing effective information finding and evaluation strategies.
