In n° II there are some pen essays by various hands, as well as some pieces in Persian (muqaṭṭaʿāt on f. 38v, two bayt on f. 40v, one on f. 42v); short extracts in Arabic in f. 34, 35. Fr. 92v bears a few lines in Turkish with the signature of ʿAbd al-Ḥayy and the name of ʿImād al-Dīn accompanies a bayt. In f. 32-2v a possessor copied a deed in Arabic, signed (f. 32) by Ḥasan b. Ḥusām, mullā of Manastir (Roumelia), attesting to a legal transfer of property, passed in the presence of Ṣādiq, ṣūbāšī, who was vakīl, Luṭfī b. ʿĪsà Bālī and Ḥasan b. ʿAbd-ullāh being witnesses, before ʿAlī official of the Treasury (ẕabit-i bayt al-māl) of the caza of Manastir and Ayyūb (?) b. ʿAbd-ullāh. The recording was made (f. 32v) on Rabīʿ 1st 959H. (/February 26, 1552) at the time of the governorate of ʿAlī Čalabī Afandī known as H̱āvarī (poet m. 972H./1564-5, whose Turkish poems are copied in f. 36-8 and qāẕī of Manastir, comp. S̱üreyyā, Sicill-i ʾOs̱mānī, II, Istanbul, 1311 H., p. In f. on the guard features a motto in Arabic perhaps giving the name of an owner. Several Ottoman hands can be distinguished. The entirety of No. I, copied obliquely in Nastaʿlīq, is however by the same hand, and perhaps the copyist is the copyist ( muḥarrir ) who, in No. II, signed (f. 29) a Turkish ġazal named Ǧānī, wrote two bayt of his composition in f. 28v and a response to a Persian bayt of Ǧāmī in f. 28. Some pieces of No. II are in Divānī (f. 1v-2, 31-2v, 33v, etc.), others in Nastaʿlīq, even in Nasẖī. Written surface 110 × 185 mm. Ms. of 130 × 185.. Collection of poems by different poets. Copied by several different hands, we note, among others, two Turkish qaṣīda (f. 34v, 43-45v), a tarǧīʿ-band, ġazal from Naǧātī (f. 1, 1v, 30, 46-7), from Amrī (f. 2, 29, 35, 40v-41v), from Bāqī (f. 26, 42), from Ẓātī (f. 27), from H̱ayyālī (f. 1, 47v), from H̱āvarī (f. 1v, 36 to 38), Navāʾī (f. 33), etc. Comes from the library of M. Thévenot (no. 159). Glued to the upper cover, a Latin notice by Renaudot is completed and signed by Armain (n° 450). European binding in full brown sheepskin, lined with combed marbled paper.
