Le cahier des f. 187-95 has been reverse bound. With a few exceptions near (f. 51 sq.), the notebooks are quinions. Or f. 48v, notes in Turkish with numbered table; au f. 216, two rubāʿiyyāt in Persian. A few marginal glosses, we pass. The various pieces in the collection, of Ottoman hands, seem to be of the same date. Notes I to VII, in Nasẖī from 13 to 15 lines to the page, with titles rubr. and claims, are of the same hand: the n° I was finished copying (f. 10v) on Monday 12 Muḥarram 961 H. (18 December 1553) in Anṭākiyyā (Antioch) by the Silaḥdār Yūsuf b. ʿAbd-ullāh and n° III was copied in 958 H. (1551), by the same, which indicates (f. 31) to have been at the fire service Dāʾūd Pāšā [Dāʾūd Pāšā, Vālī of Egypt, m. and 956H.]. No other piece bears a colophon, but there seem to be among ns VIII to XIX several pieces that would be due to the same copyist (Nasẖī writing of 17 or 21 lines and Dīvānī of 20-22 lines per page). No. XX, in Ottoman script of 15 lines, of which Aḥmad b. ʿĪsà (f. 215v) may have been the copyist for his own use, and XXI (Nastaʿlīq of 15 lines on 2 columns) are other hands. Printed surfaces: between 80 × 150 and 120 × 160 mm. Ms. of 155 × 215.. (cf. f. 1).
