The translation is dedicated to Sultan Soleiman I, son of Sultan Selim (folio 3 recto); the work is divided into thirteen chapters, the details of which are given in the preface, on folio 5 verso and following. ; the author wrote poems in Persian, as we learn from Haği Khalifa, if he was not misled by an erroneous interpretation of a passage from the preface, in his Bibliographic Dictionary, the text of which, corrupted in Fluegel's edition, must be restored in المخلّص ..... الى التركيّة و نقله شاعر فارسى “a Persian poet (sic), nicknamed....... translated it into Turkish”. The Persian text is found under numbers 271-275 of the Catalog of Persian Manuscripts. Bound in rooted calfskin, with the figure of Charles X.
