Notes People learn attitudes and behaviors later. The formation of personality in a sociological sense is possible in community life. The socialization process includes elements of material and spiritual culture. Along with material culture, the individual also acquires religious beliefs, values, norms, emotions, thoughts and behaviors that shape the society socio-culturally. Thus, he keeps up with the culture of the society while continuing his religious socialization. Therefore, this study focuses on the effects of school, which has an important place in the socialization process, on religious socialization and character formation. Religious socialization is a process in which people begin to have religious preferences. This depends on one's communication with others. The place where this communication takes place through formal means is school. This compilation study examines the school, which has important functions in building human character and socializing individuals; In other words, it deals with teacher-friend relationships. Because the school, which includes the child's educational, cultural and social factors, has a functional quality in equipping the individual with moral values. Moral values ​​are thought to provide young people with individual and social responsibility.
