Planetary hypotheses
(Ὑποθέσεις τῶν πλανωμένων, Book of Retribution) of Ptolemy (Claudius Ptolemaeus; c 90-c 168).
The work is divided into two books:
Book One (first article, ff. 81v-92v);
Book Two (Article Two, ff.).
The original Greek text of Book Two is lost.
Book One begins (f. 81v, lines 4-6):
The first article from Ptolemy's book on the body called Retribution
