Nakhchivani wrote his Tafsir of the Qur'an named El-Fevâtihul-İlâhiyye ve'l-Mefâtihul-Gaybiyye and his work called Hidâyetü'l-İhvâna in Arabic, and his other works in Persian. There is no work titled Hidâyetü'l-İhvân in the library catalogs. This work was recorded in different sources under the titles İhvân, Hidâye, Risâletü'l-Vücud, Risâletü'n fi't-savvuf. In Kâtip Çelebî's (d.1068/1657) Keşfü'z-Zünûn, Nakhchivânî's Hidâyetü'l-İhvân is mentioned as "a concise work on Sufism". At the beginning of the work, there was a note: "Sheikh Mahmud b. Nakhchivani's treatise on Sufism", and at the end of the work, the treatise was called "temmetü'r-risâletü" without giving a special name. Since the work was not named Risâletü'l-Vücûd or Hidâyetü'l-İhvân by the author himself, the researchers took as basis the name Hidâyetü'l-İhvân, which Kâtip Çelebî, one of the earliest sources on this subject, attributed to Nakhchivânî in his Keşfü'z-Zünûn (Musakhanov). 2011: 17, Kurt 1998: 73). A master's thesis about the work was written by Orkhan Musakhanov in 2011. In this study, by giving information about Nakhchivani's life, Sufi views and works, a detailed examination of Hidâyetü'l-İhvânî's work from a Sufi perspective and its translation from Arabic to Turkish was made. In the treatise, 18 titles were examined and translated into Turkish, together with an introduction and conclusion. In the work, the subject of existence is handled within the framework of the concept of unity of existence and includes the following topics: 'Confirmation of the Sufis on the Matter of Necessity of Existence and Its Knowing and Seeing, Criticism of the Opinions of Theologians and Philosophers, Analysis of the Word Adam and Existence, Scholars on the Way of Knowing and Tawhid'. Confirmation of States and Reason, Miracle, Miracle, etc. Criticism of the Opinions of Theologians and Philosophers on the Subjects, The Form and Truth of Religion, Spirit, Strange States of the Human Heart, Knowing the Scholar and the Ignorant on the Path of Knowledge, Description of Adam and Existence, Manifestations of Absolute Existence in the Universe and Criticism of the Subject of Consistency, Knowledge of Peace and Knowledge of Husûlî, Perfect Man, Manifestations of Existence, Personal Names and Attributes, Knowledge of the Soul and Knowledge of Allah, Morals Desiring to Achieve the Success of the Hereafter and Conditions of Those Who Claim to Be Sheikhs, About the Hereafter The subjects of 'Beliefs, Remembering Death and Praise of Poor, Praised and Blamed Astonishment, Fenâfillah and Bekabillâh' are emphasized. Although the work, the only copy of which is in the Nuru Osmaniye Library (No: 2386, vr. 1a-78a.), is recorded as Risâletün fi't-Savvuf in the library catalogue, it was written by Bursalı Mehmed Tâhir. It is called Risâletü'l-Vücûd and he has a work of Sufism named "Hidâyetü'l-İhvân" in Ottoman Authors and another treatise called Risâletü'l-Vücûd, a copy of which is available in Nûru Osmâniye. He gave information as follows (C. I: 40). Since Nakhchivani deals with the issue of existence from the perspective of unity of existence, the treatise may have been named Risaletu'l-Existence due to its content. In the work, many subjects such as the apparent side and reality of religion, the subjects of heaven and hell, praised and blamed morality, wonder, the qualities of the guide and the perfect human being were examined from a Sufi perspective, and all subjects were marked with a red pen in the manuscript and started with the address "ikhvani" (my brothers).
