Notes The work of Mir Möhsün Nevvâb, who was known as a poet, biographer, painter, miniaturist, calligrapher, astronomer and educator. The biographies in the Tezkire are in Persian, and the poetry examples are in both Persian and Turkish. This work, which includes Karabakh poets and has a local character, is arranged in a somewhat irregular manner (Musalı 2012). While explaining the reason for writing the tezkire, Nevvâb stated in the preface of the work that upon the request of his religious brothers, they requested that the names of the saints of Karabakh poets and their life paths be collected and arranged in the tezkire (Nəvvab 1980). The tezkire divided his work into three parts. In the first part, 35 poets who are not alive are mentioned - “The lives of the late Karabakh poets and carefully given excerpts from their poems”. The second part of the Tezkire contains the biographies of 56 poets who are alive and examples of their works - "The lives and poems of Karabakh poets who were alive until 1309". The third part of the work constitutes the epilogue of the book. Humorous poems and very brief information about 14 Karabakh poets whose names were not included in the previous sections for some reasons were added to this section of the Tezkire. In addition, biographies of Caucasian poets (54 poets) have been added here. Nawab makes a statement under the title "The names, pseudonyms and names of the places where the poets in the Caucasian cities are alive or not, regardless of whether they are alive or not": "... After collecting the situations and poems of the Karabakh poets, he wanted to collect the situations, lineages and poems of the Caucasian poets, and he wanted to convey to the presence of the wise men of the time and the poets of the time by including them in this memoir. But some obstacles (Nəvvab 1980: 1048) In this part of the Tezkire, information is given about the poets of Şamahı (21), Ganja (12), İrevan (6), Ordubad (3), Derbend (3), Baku (2), Kuba (1), Lahıc (1), Lankaran (1). The copy is in the Manuscripts Institute of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (M - 67). The work was published in Baku in 1913. The Tezkire was translated from Persian into Azerbaijani Turkish by Nasreddin Karayev. This translation is kept in Nasreddin Karayev's personal archive at the Manuscripts Institute (Nəvvab 1980).
