In the work consisting of approximately 4941 couplets, Irakî sang very beautiful, enthusiastic, wise, subtle and pathetic ghazals, unlike the style of other poets. In his poems in the work, Iraki dealt with subjects such as unity of existence, form worship, Kalenderism, Melamiism, being together with love, avoiding asceticism and remembering the beloved. There are many Sufi terms in the ghazals in the work, which includes Iraki's Sâkînâme, which he wrote independently in the tercî-i bend pattern. In the odes (763 couplets) in the divan, praise to the wise and great, praise to Allah, tawhîd, the characteristics of the Kaaba, na't, love and mystical subjects are discussed, Sheikh Hamîdüddin Ahmed Vâiz, Sheikh Bahaeddin Zekeriyyâ-yı Mültânî, Azîzüddin Muhammmed el-Hacî and People like Sheikh Sadreddin were praised. In the stanzas (43), Iraki touched upon the pain of love, his falling away from his son, his bad luck, the pain of separation, his longing for Multan and his departure from Iraq to India. In the muselles (7 couplets) in the divan, Iraki describes the qualities of a Qalandari dervish. The author explained the themes of love and Sufism in the compositions (182 couplets), wrote an elegy about Sheikh Bahaeddîn Zekeriyyâ-yı Mültanî and expressed his own miserable state. In the tercî-i clauses (401 couplets) in the divan, Iraki mostly touched on Sufi issues and especially focused on the issue of unity of existence. When we look at the ghazals consisting of 3071 couplets in the divan, it is seen that the author created his ghazals on the axis of love and that he was successful in chanting the types of love in his poems. The rubâîs (474 couplets) in the divan are amorous, gentle and wise. For the poet's biography, see. “Mağribî (Iraqi), İbrahim Bin Shahriyar”.Turkish Literature Names Dictionary.
