Notes The work containing Sabûhî's poems. Sâkıp Mustafa Dede stated that the poet wanted to write this work according to the letters of the alphabet, but he died before completing it. The poems in the work are scattered throughout the poet's Turkish Divan. The elif and ghazals of the author's Persian ode elifbâ in his Turkish Dîvân are written with the letters elif, be, te, dal. Accordingly, it is true that the poet died before completing his Persian Dîvân. There are 93 couplets of Persian poems in the Turkish Dîvân. The verse forms and couplet numbers of these poems are as follows: 1 ode with 20 couplets, 5 ghazals with 5 couplets, 3 ghazals with 7 couplets, 1 ghazal with 6 couplets, 9 rubai, 1 stanza with 2 couplets, 1 mufred. The poet's ghazals, built on the basis of Sufism, are ashikane, rindane and It is wise. Sufi terms such as sakî, meygede, şerâb, mest, deyr-i muğân, meyhâne, câm-ı visâl were used in the ghazals. The poet, who was successful in singing Persian ghazals, was influenced by Mevlana, Hâfız-i Şîrâzî and Zuhûrî-i Türşîzî. The poet, who used the pseudonym Sabûhî in all his ghazals, stated in one of his ghazals that the eloquent Sabûhî was originally from the Greek land, but that he benefited from the Persian style in his poetry. His rubais are amorous and philosophical.  It is seen that the Sebk-i Hindî style was influential in Sabûhî's Persian poems, but he is not considered a Sebk-i Hindî poet. He was influenced by this movement like other poets. For the poet's biography, see. “Sabuhi, Şeyh Ahmed Dede”. Turkish Literature Names Dictionary.
