Sample Text This study explores the potential of virtual reality (VR) technology as a tool to overcome specific physical limitations faced by amateur actors during rehearsals, such as restricted access to consistent rehearsal spaces, limited opportunities for spatial awareness development, and challenges in maintaining character continuity. Collaborating with the university's theater group, this research focuses on the script work and memorization process. The study was conducted over a two-month rehearsal period for a drama play, which involved observing actors' rehearsal processes during the first month and reviewing rehearsal diaries. The research identifies issues related to changes in stage directions, the process of memorization, and line retention. The study uses thematic analysis to evaluate actors' perspectives on VR-based script work methods. Key findings extracted from actor interviews and rehearsal diary provide insights into how VR can enhance script work and memorization. Additionally, the study outlines essential design elements for VR-supported text studies and explores potential tools for this purpose.
