Notlar Persian translation of a treatise on the immortality of the soul in sixteen parts (فصول) by Abū ʿAlī al-Ḥusayn ibn ʿAbd Allāh (أبو علي الحسين بن عبد الله), known as Ibn Sīnā (ابن سينا, latinised as Avicenna, d. 1037). The Arabic text is item 34 (ff. 449v-466r) in the present manuscript and a shorter recension of the Persian version directly follows this text (item 22, ff. 403v-410r). Many blank spaces have been left for rubricated headings.
