Laid lines; with red border and separating hemistichs; no other decoration; catchwords; marginal corrections on f. 23b by a different hand; ink of the borders is pale red, while chapter headings are in faint purple. The text ends — unfinished — on f. 34b. The last chapter heading is (f. 32b): در پرهيز كويد از قول نعمان There are altogether 52 chapter headings. An ethico-didactic poem in mathnawi form, free adaptation of a poem by the Persian mystic Farīd al-Dīn ‘Aṭṭār (d. 586/1190?) entitled Pandnāma, cf. H. A. R. Gibb: “‘ Aṭṭār ”, EI, N.E. I (1958). The Turkish version was composed on behalf of Prince Bāyezīd (d. 1561) in 964/1556-57. Mss. are frequent, cf. Türk. Hss. vol. 5, no. 253. There are also several printed editions; cf. Karatay, Türkçe Yazmalar, II, no. 2160.
