The author argues that the paper failed to provide a model by which diversity can be discussed and addressed. He discusses the cultural mosaic theory which states that shared cultural identities arise from interpersonal interactions and self. He cites some applications of the cultural values concept such as in employee recruitment, inclusion, and retention.
