Sample Text Youth is one of the most important and critical periods of life. The young person experiences the anxiety of escaping childhood and starting to take on the responsibilities of adulthood. In this period, the young person makes choices by adopting the adult role and begins to assume responsibility. In line with this choice, he chooses a profession in line with his interests and abilities, in which he will realize his expectations and wishes and make a living. Many studies have shown that student perceptions have a significant impact on career choice. In this sense, it is very important to reveal the career values ​​of university students, especially those who are at the beginning of their working lives. A person's career orientation begins with his perception of his motivations, abilities, and values. When this awareness becomes clear, the English equivalent of "career anchors/values" is formed. Career values ​​are a person's personal needs, values, and abilities that shape his career decision-making. It can be considered as the component that lies at the center of self-perception, which a working person cannot give up even if he has to make a difficult choice. In this study; The subject of the study was conducted on individuals who received a two-year education at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, Gerede Vocational School and a four-year education at Gerede School of Applied Sciences. In the light of the data collected by survey method on 180 students in this school, the dominant career values ​​and whether the dominant career values ​​that emerged showed a difference between the two groups were investigated. As a result of the study; In the light of observation and statistical results, it was determined that the individuals participating in the survey had dominant career values ​​and that these career values ​​showed a differentiation between the two groups., One's orientation in career starts with the perception of his motivations, skills and values. When the awareness becomes clearer, then we start seeing the “career anchors”. Career anchors are person's personal needs, values ​​and skills which shape the way he decides for his career. We can also consider “career anchors” as something which is indispensable for an already employed person and which lies beneath self-perception. Numerous studies have shown that perceptions of students have a substantial impact on career choices. Within this context, it is of utmost importance to discuss the career anchors of the university students who are at the first phase of their career lives. The subject of this study comprises students of the two-year Gerede Vocational High School of Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University and four-year College of Applied Sciences. The question of whether or not there is dissimilarity between the dominant career values ​​of the two groups has been researched into, in light of data attained through surveys conducted on 180 students in these schools. As a result of the research carried out, it has been found out that there are dominant career values ​​of the individuals who participated in the survey, and moreover, there is a distinction between the two groups.
