The main purpose of this study is to examine the effects of cultural value perceptions on impression management tactics and the relationship between them. Hypotheses have been developed that the impression management tactics used will be affected by the value perceptions of the culture. Two different surveys were used to measure and evaluate impression management tactics and cultural value perceptions. Surveys were administered to 285 lower and middle managers working in the public and private sectors. The data obtained from the surveys were analyzed in the SPSS statistical program. The findings indicate that power distance and patriarchy cultural value perceptions have positive relationships with all impression management tactics; Uncertainty avoidance shows that cultural value perception has a positive relationship with the self-liking sub-dimension of impression management., The main purpose of this study is to search the effect of cultural dimensions on impression management tactics and the relationship between them. It is hypothesized that the use of impression management tactics will be influenced by existing culture's worth perception. Two different surveys were used in order to measure and assess the impression management tactics and culture. The survey conducted on 285 lower and mid-level managers in public and private companies. Data obtained from questionnaires analyzed through the SPSS statistical packaged software. The results show that, the power distance and patriarchy factors had a positive effect on all impression management tactics; while avoidance of uncertainty factor had a positive effect on self-promotion factor of impression management.
