Sample Text	The first western Hafiz monograph, Rarissimum of European Oriental Studies. Like Heinrich Friedrich von Diez, Rewiczky had become thoroughly acquainted with Islamic poetry as an envoy at the gate. Hardly any of his successors judge the interpretation of the Hafiz divan between sensuality and mysticism, which is controversial in the East and West. What is more important to him is the poet's mastery, illa musica vocum harmonia. Rewiczky reproduces the 15 ghaseles on the letter Eilif that open the divan in the original text and anacreontic transmission. This is followed by a literal paraphrase and notes, based on the Turkish interpreters Surûrî and Sûdî.
