Notes
Praise be to God, the Owner of Al-Muhammad, the Greatest of Benefits, the Most Eternal, the One, exalted in facilitating the objectives and facilitating the benefits, and may blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad, the Most High, the ascetic, the worshiper, and upon his family and companions who have won extra honor and glorious pride. As for what follows: This is a book I called “Facilitating the Objectives and Approximating the Examples and Evidence” with an explanation of “Facilitating the Benefits and Completing the Objectives” by the eminent Shaykh Al-Bahr Jamal al-Din Muhammad ibn Malik. May God cover him with His mercy and dwell him in the love of His Paradise. You deposited unique pearls for him, highlighted the benefits, highlighted the objectives, brought the strays closer, mentioned examples and evidence, suppressed adversity, benefited the one who grudged, made vocal the one who extinguished, repeated the one who chanted, narrated the one who responded, perfected the boundaries, and tightened the restrictions. So he came with the praise of God, pleasing the observers, and from God I derive success. I ask Him for guidance to the straight path, and grant me from His grace the investigation, and to make it pure for His honorable face, and to benefit from it in life and after death. He is near and responds to prayers, and He is my suffice and the best disposer of affairs. Amen. The author, may God have mercy on him, said: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. In imitation of the Holy Book and in accordance with the words of the Great Prophet: Every matter of importance that does not begin with “In the Name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful” is amputated. And in a narration: “Ajdham”, meaning the blessing has melted, and adding the name to God was said from adding the general to the specific like an iron ring, and it was said: The addition here is an intercalation that was brought in to guide good performance, and it was said: The name means naming, and it was said: In speech, the genitive is deleted, meaning: In the name of God’s designation. He said in the statement: The reason for this is that they differed in the name and the designation. Are they heterogeneous or not? The first is the opinion of the Mu'tazilites, and the second is the opinion of Al-Ash'ari, and it was said: No, no, and it is the opinion of the least.... Yasin said: And what we have established in the words of Al-Shihab, that it is imposed in the words of Al-Mubarrad, what his student, our teacher, the scholar Ahmad Al-Taymi, wrote about it, is dropped, and his text is in Al-Ashbah wa Al-Naza'ir in the chapter on addition: A question: If the mouth is added to the speaker's ya', the deleted one is returned, then this is said in, and it is opened in, and it is placed in in, and that is because you say: This is Fuk, and I saw Fuk, and I looked. To fik, so the movement is dependent on the movement of the letters that follow it, and if the addition comes, it must break the fa, so that it is subordinate to it. Ibn Yaish said: Why did you invert the alif here even though it indicates syntactic syntax, and prevented you from inverting the alif of the dual? What is the difference between them? The answer is: In the second Alif, there was one reason that required turning it into a B, and it was caused by a violation of parsing. Here, two reasons were found for turning it into a Ya, namely: its falling into a kasra position, and the breaking of what came before it in the estimation, since the alif is subordinate to what comes after it, so the reason for changing it was strong, and the accident was not taken into account. I finish. Then Yassin said: And see if the answer comes out of it or not? This was dangerous for this weak person to begin with. He answered him by saying that since the analogy in the six names was that they should not be parsed with those letters because they were copies of the word, when they were added to the speaker’s yā’, it returned to the original form of grammaticalization with vowels, and we estimated the vowel so that the parsing from the genitive to the speaker’s yā’ took place according to one Sunnān. I finish. This is the end of the first part...
