A notice in French stuck to the upper contreplat suggests an identification: "Collection of prayers for the successive moments of the day [...]. Assonanced prose (in the style of the famous Abdallah Ançari the mystic - would be to be examined with the prayers due to this great author) [...]." It is not the Manāzil al-sā'irīn, nor a translation of the Munāğāt. Inc. (f. 1v) (f. 5): الهم اني أسئلك برحمتك الهم اني أسئلك من كل خير احاط به علمك Inc. (f. 13v) Copy completed in 1142 hours. / 1729-1730 by Aḥmad al-Nayrīzī for Ḥāğğī Riḍā Qulī Āġā The sheets were cut out and mounted in a frame at the beginning of the 19th century. The frontispiece is also from the 19th century. Traces of a rectangular stamp and marks partly erased on f. 1, one of which bears the date 1292 h. / 1875.. Binions. in clouds in reserve on a golden background patterned with multicolored flowers. In f. 1v, frontispiece with colored plant motifs on a blue and matt gold background, or shiny gold on a reserve background. The frontispiece is bordered on three sides with red and green fillets, two thin bands, one blue and one red, and a wider band with a gold braid motif. The frame bordering the text and the frontispiece, formed of a red band and a gold band delimited by black, red and blue lines, is closed on all four sides. It is identical to all sheets. The last page (f. 14) is decorated with two bands on either side of the last word of the text, and a final band with a gold plant motif, enhanced with red, blue and green. Backplates lined with bright pink paper. Transliteration standard: ISO 233-2:1993, Information and documentation -- Transliteration of Arabic characters into Latin characters -- Part 2: Arabic language (the character ¨t is not used).
Sample Text A notice in French on the upper floor suggests an identification: “Recueil from the prayers for the successful moments of the journey [...]. This is the grand old man) [...].” He doesn't want to go to Manāzil al-Sā'irīn, and there is no translation from Munāğāt. Inc. (f. 1v): O you who flattered the tongue of the morning with its eloquent utterance and set off the night’s sector. Inc. (f. 4v): My God, my heart is veiled, my mind is defeated, and my soul is defective. Inc. (f. 5): O God, I ask You by Your mercy that encompasses all things. Inc. (f. 13v): O God, I ask you of every good thing that your knowledge encompasses. Inc. (f. 13v): Praise be to God who made himself known to me and did not leave me blind in heart. Copy archive in 1142 h. / 1729-1730 by Aḥmad al-Nayrīzī for Ḥāğğī Riḍā Qulī Āġā The feuillet onté découpés and montés in an encadrement au début of the XIX century.
