Comes from the library of Gilbert Gaulmin. Sent from Cairo around 1645 by François Daniel (wax stamp on f. 1) and note + dispatch number n°5: "In this book are three dictionaries of the Coptic language. The first is according to this book that they have now, the other two are according to what they wrote formerly". In f. 2, "Gaulmin" number and initials of 1687 by Claude le Cappellain and Pierre du Vallon (cf. Latin 17172 f. 119). Collation of August 22, 1873 "volume of 250 sheets plus sheet 216 bis. Sheet 2 is mutilated. Sheets 136-138 are blank.". Leaves partly mounted on tabs in a half conservation binding "Gardien 1873" for the BnF
