Notes
A good, complete copy, corresponding to the original from which it was copied, as appears from the corrections of the interview recorded in the footnotes. The text was written in black, tangy, dark viscous (Chinese) ink within single tables in red. The copyist used red ink to write some words during the text, a number of sentences, and the warning lines that he marked on the annotated text, and so on, on a french-made satin white ink in which the parallel lines and the commercial watermark, which is a crown, appear. A cluster of grapes hangs from it, its margins are heavy with explanations, sayings, restrictions, and quotations from similar sources such as the Mishkat al-Anwar, Akhtari Dictionary, and others. On the title page, an endowment entry in the name of Hajj Sibghatullah Mufti Baamd Koçuk Ahmad Zadeh to his son Muhammad Masoud Effendi and Hajj Khalil Effendi and after them to their male children. The endowment is appended with his handwriting and seal, and the endowment was confirmed by Judge Muhammad Saadullah al-Mawla. Caliphate in the city of Amed, and the copy was given to Muhammad Ragheb, who endowed it in the Dar al-Kutub attached to the Raghibiya School in Amed, also owned by Hafez Ali bin Omar al-Amdi.

((الحمد لله الذي جعل الليل لباساً.. وبعد فيقول الجاني إسحاق بن حسن الزنجاني التوقاتي. اشتغلت برهة من العمر المرغوب بتدريس الرسالة المسماة بـ جلاء القلوب للعالم.. محمد بن بير علي البركوي.. ولكن لما صعب حل معاقدها على الطالبين وعسر فهم مقاصدها على الراغبين ولم أجد له شرحاً إلى هذا الآن.. مع أن بعض الخلان سيما الولد الأعز فضل الله جعل الجنة مثواه اقترح أن أكتب له شرحاً..))

((... لكن المحشي عصام الدين صرف تلك الأحاديث عن ظاهرها في حاشية علي البيضاوي في سورة الفاتحة عند قوله وتعليم المسألة حيث قال أشير فيه إلى أنه ينبغي للسائل أن يحمل أولاً مما هو حقه ويحصر أمره في المسؤول عنه حتى يجاب فما في بعض الأحاديث أنه ينبغي أن يصلي عليه السلام أيضاً فمن مقومات الإجابة انتهى.. فظهر من هذا أن تاريخ الرسالة المسماة بجلاء القلوب مقدم على تاريخ الطريقة تسع سنة (كذا) وتمام تحقيقه مذكور في ذخائر الآخرة))
