Notes
External size: 20.9 x 14.7 cm. The beginning of the manuscript: Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and prayers be upon the Master of Messengers and all his family. His saying: (following what was mentioned in the reports) means by his saying, “A.M., every matter of importance that is not begun in the name of God, it is amputated.” And his saying, “A.M., every matter of importance that does not begin with praise be to God, is a leprosy.” But they are apparently contradictory, since beginning with one of them misses beginning with the other, so the savior must be sought, and he is either before the ruling or the place. Or time... The end of the manuscript: ... His saying, “He was not guided to the ability to adhere to it,” and this is more eloquent than saying, “I was incapacitated by the causes,” that is, I was not guided to them, as if the lack of guidance applies from him to them, so the “ba” is a connection, and the “ba” may be made transitive, and to him he referred by his saying, “You made me incapable, so I was not guided to it.”
