Sample Text The Persian tendency towards the versification of everyday expressions is such that poetry can be found in almost every classical work, regardless of whether it is literature, science or metaphysics. In short, the ability to write in verse was a prerequisite for the expression of all scientists. For example, almost half of Avidena's medical writings are written in verse. Works from the early period of Persian poetry are characterized by a strong patronage of dovra, the extravagance of panegyrics and the so-called stylistic exultation.
