To the smallness of the cup, as in Al-Fath, or to the number of Uthman’s sending to Umm Salamah. This was said by Al-Kirmani, but Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar ruled it out, and Al-Ayni believed it to be the case that if the cup is the size of three fingers, it will be very small, so as much water can be contained in it until it is sent with it, and that the movement of the fingers is usually in number. ...Chapter: If he yawns, let him put his hand on his mouth.... And in the hadith of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of Al-Ala’ ibn Abd al-Rahman, on the authority of his father, yawning during prayer is from the devil. If one of you yawns, let him suppress it as much as he can. He is restricted to the state of prayer, so it is possible that he applies the absolute to the restricted one, and the devil has a strong purpose in disturbing the praying person in his prayer, and it is possible that his dislike for prayer is more severe. This does not necessitate that he does not dislike it in times other than prayer, and his dislike is absolutely supported by the fact that it is absolute, and thus Al-Nawawi stated that it is absolute.
