Notes The author, may God Almighty have mercy on him, used to mention the date of his completion of writing after every few chapters of the book: In the margin of folio 17/b and at the end of the section on interpretation and virtues, he said: “The commentating author, may God have mercy on him, said the part was completed, and praise be to God, I finished it after the afternoon of Wednesday, the thirteenth of Rajab al-Fard al-Haram, in the year 912 AH.” #It has a commentary system. The name of the owner (Ahmed bin Ali, known as Al-Mutanabbi) was taken from the copy following this one, which is the first part of the book, where he declared his ownership of the three parts of the book.
Sample Text The Book of Virtues of the Qur’an In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful... The collection of virtue, and there was a difference of opinion as to whether there is anything better than anything in the Qur’an, so Al-Ash’ari and Judge Abu Bakr held that there is no superiority to some of them over others, because the better feels the deficiency of the preferred, and the word of God is one truth with no deficiency in it. Some people said that the apparent meaning of the hadiths was superior to the hadith of the greatest surah in the Qur’an. Then they disagreed, and some people said: The virtue is due to the greatness of the reward and reward, and others said: Rather, for the same wording... ... Chapter on the words of God Almighty: {And We set fair scales}... He said: So he looks at them and they look at him, and they do not pay attention to any of the bliss as long as they look at it until it is hidden from them, and the light of God remains, and God speaks the truth and He guides the way, and God knows best, and the time has come for that. I bend the reins of my pen and ask God for forgiveness for what I have committed... On the authority of Ali, may God be pleased with him, who said: Whoever likes to be measured with the fullest measure, let him say at the end of his sitting or when he stands, Glory be to your Lord, Lord of glory, for what they describe, and peace be upon the messengers, and praise be to God, Lord of the worlds.
