In the current globalized world, the activity of language didactics is accompanied by pedagogical challenges. Among these, dealing with the cultural identities of learners in Francophone Africa is of great importance. A concrete example of this is the DaF lessons in Senegal, where the teacher not only teaches the German language and German-speaking cultures using the local textbook Ihr und Wir plus, but also conducts her lessons with students from different cultural identities. This article analyzes the cultural influences in Daf teaching practice.is analyzed. Abstract In today's globalized world, the activity of language didactics goes hand in hand with pedagogical challenges. Among these, the management of learners' cultural identities in Francophone Africa is of great importance. A concrete example is the teaching of German as a foreign language in Senegal, where the teacher, with the help of the local textbook Ihr und Wir plus, not only teaches the German language and German-speaking cultures, but also teaches pupils with different cultural identities. The cultural identities in German are analyzed in this article.
