Education and power are not distant concepts in the context of social sociology. Many thinkers have discussed these two concepts. Our aim in this article is to try to reveal what kind of relationship Foucault and Nietzsche have between education and power. Nietzsche uses the concept of will to power to understand the power relationship of education. What he understands about human upbringing, he sees the educational policies put forward by the government to maintain itself. The specialization that is tried to be brought out through education does not eliminate the mediocre situation of a person, on the contrary, it causes him to become a herd person. He says that a culturally based way should be used to raise the superhuman. The epistemology of society states that it is formed through the facts revealed by the government. According to Nietzsche, education politicizes the individual and turns into a tool for the government to maintain its order. According to Foucault, power uses the human body as a tool. Power follows the individual everywhere. Thanks to surveillance, the individual's information constantly falls into the domain of power, thus enabling the individual to be controlled. The basis of education lies in obtaining and using this knowledge. Power and knowledge are articulated together and it tries to manage individuals without them realizing it, with the policies it develops within that knowledge spiral.
