Notes
Asking questions to religious texts and questioning the content are among the important factors for a religious education focused on understanding. Accordingly, it is necessary to determine which types of questions enable permanent learning and which ones have limited contribution to understanding. It can be said that questions that will open space for students' individual interpretations will be useful in revealing the meaning in religious education, which is a branch of social science. These questions are rather open-ended and are high-level cognitive questions that provide students with the opportunity to interpret and evaluate. However, students can establish the healthiest communication with the text of the Quran by asking contextual and existential questions to it.
