Notes
The act of thinking correctly is undertaken by the science of logic, the act of having a correct and authentic belief by the science of theology, the act of being moral by the science of Sufism, and the act of speaking correctly by the science of grammar. There were more than one factor that required the introduction of the science of grammar. In addition to many branches of science, grammar has also been established due to political and religious reasons such as religion, which corresponds to Muslims protecting the Quran and hadiths, nationalism against the concern of extinction and assimilation in the face of great empires such as Byzantium and Persia in the field of existence, and waving of the Islamic flag in lands that were not honored with Islam as a result of conquest movements. Universal rules have been compiled, inspired by the Holy Quran and the concise expressions of our Prophet (pbuh), known as "Cevâmiu'l-kelim", so that the rules can be remembered and especially non-Arabs can understand them better. The grammar of the Arabic language is based on the universal rules "perpetrator is marfû', object is mansûb, muzâfu ileyh is macrûr." or “every action ref's its agent.” It started with the rule. While universal rules guide the person who deals with grammar which of the rules should be prioritized, what he should do, and on many issues, these rules also sometimes express the rules of the science of grammar. These rules have found a place in the vast majority of the scientific books of nahiv, nahiv method and nahiv, by pointing out them between the lines or by mentioning them under a special section. In his work titled Alfiyya, Ibn Malik points out the importance of these rules by both acting in accordance with them and mentioning them.
