The most basic source for a comprehensive understanding of the Quran is the Quran itself, as well as the environment of its first addressees, the society's acceptances, beliefs and knowledge of the dominant culture are also among the factors that contribute to understanding the Quran. Knowing the revelation process of the Quran well will be beneficial both in ensuring the understanding of the Quran and in increasing the accuracy of the interpretations to be made about the Quran. The revelation environment and the process of revelation of the Quran were subjected to the revelation of the verses by the divine will, taking into account the conditions of humanity. In a sense, revelation; He took part as a dynamic subject in life itself, without being alien to the reality and the dynamics of life, and without being left out of it. In this context, revelation tried to regulate the understanding of faith, worship, justice and law by focusing on the defective aspects of the society in which it was revealed that did not comply with its own standards. In this way, the revelation that developed and became effective with the society spread over a period of time to ensure the acceptance and adaptation of its addressees to the newly constructed Islamic principles within their lives and cultures. This process took into account human nature and a phenomenon that would allow him to take responsibility. Although there are different life elements, value and belief systems among the tribes of the Ignorance period, the dominant element in all of them is the "ignorant quality." Since the Quran was sent down in this medium, each of its verses corresponds to a field in which the current practice or life of that period is either reformed, rejected, or approved and reinforced. Regarding belief rituals, social and family life, the Quran warns those who carry a trace of the prophets from committing polytheism, etc. while reforming them. It chose the path of total rejection against the practices. The purpose of the Quran is to intervene in areas that are not going well and to bring the wrong course, which has become the cultural elements of society, closer to the acceptance of Allah Almighty with its own directives. In fact, the Quran itself is nothing but divine directives. In this respect, there is a need to know the current situation for the verse-environment-process correlation and interpretation to be made with accurate information about the functioning and course of the area that the Quran wants to put on track in line with divine commands. While one aspect of the approach of the audience in terms of acceptance and rejection of the revelation is related to irritability, the other aspect is the responsibility and moral behavior that the Quran will impose on them. The unlimited and almost unregulated environment of desert life compared to civilized life caused various difficulties in their relations with the Quran. Knowing this process well will contribute to both more accurate results and opening new horizons in the face of new situations in understanding and interpreting the Quran. However, in the historical process, as conditions changed, various problems emerged in the correct understanding of the Quran. Although various methods based on the Quran and the Sunnah have been developed by Islamic scholars to solve these problems, the need to review the Quran's statements by taking into account the needs of the current age has remained valid in every age. Information about the customs, traditions, war and cultural values of the audience is needed. In order to understand correctly what the Quran wants to replace them, information about the Mecca-Medina hinterland of revelation is needed. Rather than the conceptual definitions of this information, the relationship between the environment and the revelation is what we want to focus on. In this study, the process and environment of the revelation of the Quran, the basic dynamics of the environment of revelation, gradualism, ignorance and understanding of law are examined. During the revelation process, the basic issues related to the revelation of the verses were evaluated on a sociological and psychological basis. In addition, "What should be the historical approach that will contribute to the correct understanding of the statements of the Quran in today's conditions?" Some approaches that may be a clue to the question are mentioned.
