Notes This research aimed to determine the opinions of administrators and teachers working in public secondary and high schools regarding values-based management practices. The research is in the survey model and the research sample consists of a total of 390 people, including 65 administrators and 325 teachers, working in public secondary schools and high schools in Mardin Artuklu district center in the 2015-2016 academic year. Research data were collected using the "Management by Values ​​Scale" developed by Yılmaz (2006) after a validity and reliability study. Percentage, arithmetic mean and standard deviation were used in the analysis of data in the study. In addition, t-test was used for the variables "task type", "gender", "professional seniority" and "educational status". Some of the findings of the research can be given as follows. According to the findings of the research, while there was a significant difference in terms of "task type" and "age" variables, there was no significant difference in terms of "gender", "educational background" and "professional seniority" variables. It can be said that the values-based management practices of administrators working in secondary and high schools play an important role in creating the organizational climate of the school, achieving educational goals, and the efficiency and effectiveness of schools.
