Notes In addition to the Peripatetic and Sufi traditions, which develop different paradigms and methods in Islamic Philosophy, the Illumination school, which takes many things from these two traditions as both sources and methods and acts within its own framework, is shown as one of the strongest examples of the fact that Islamic philosophy did not end after the death of Ibn Rushd, as claimed by the Orientalists. Although this school also manifested itself in the Ottoman and Indian hinterlands, it has continued as a tradition, especially in the Iranian geography, through contradictions and syntheses throughout the historical process until today. Suhrawardi, the founder of Ishraq philosophy, acted with a non-exclusive, inclusive method in his works and embraced all philosophical traditions, but also revealed the differences of his own method. In his Ishraq philosophy, traces of ancient Greek and Iranian wisdom and their projections, Peripatetic and Sufi tendencies, can be seen. However, it can be said that Suhrawardi criticized Peripatetic philosophy and these criticisms brought his thoughts closer to Sufi thought. However, while approaching Sufism based solely on observation and discovery, he revealed that philosophy was not possible without proof and evil eye. In this sense, it is possible to say that the philosophy of Ishraq is actually a "border philosophy". The entire historical course of Ishraq philosophy in the Iranian hinterland has been manifested through contradictions and syntheses in this border and in-between. Technically strong commentators who emerged in the period from the first period commentators to the Isfahan School literally prepared the ground for the idea of "al-Hikmetu'l-Müte'aliye", which is one of the biggest synthesis projects of Islamic philosophy, and together with Mola Sadra, all schools of Islamic philosophy, including Illuminationism, were now discussed through a new concept and paradigm, and this situation has continued uninterruptedly until today.
