Notes Muslims consider reading, which is the first commandment of the Quran, not only as a superficial reading but also as delving into the essence of existence and understanding the world. In this direction, from the earliest times, they examined all the events around them as a lesson and made them the subject of their scientific studies. The fact that learning science is seen as necessary for all Muslims, regardless of whether they are men or women, has been an important source of motivation for them. One of the prominent aspects of the Islamic civilization, which is rising rapidly and confidently, is the interest shown by Muslims to religious sciences. Not only limited to religious sciences, Muslims also showed interest in positive sciences such as astronomy, mathematics, geometry, physics and chemistry in later periods. One of the reasons for the interest of Muslims in this field is the inclusion of topics such as celestial bodies and creation in the Quran. In addition, the moon, sun, etc. are used in determining the times of routine prayers. Issues such as taking the movements of celestial bodies as a basis have aroused great interest and curiosity among Muslims. On the other hand, Muslims spread over a wide geography with the conquests and encountered different ethnic, religious and cultural elements there. Muslims, who do not ignore the possible benefits of these elements and which constitute an important step for them, have started to translate scientific studies, which they consider as the heritage of humanity, into their own language. It is seen that these activities are increasing with the support of state authorities. One of the main aims of our study is to make an evaluation of the reasons for the success of the Islamic world in scientific studies after political and military developments along with conquests. From the early periods, the Islamic society focused primarily on learning religious subjects, and then began to engage in positive sciences by being influenced by other civilizations it encountered. They generally did not adhere to any restrictions regarding these areas. Although it seems that there were no studies devoted to positive sciences in the first years of Islam, important studies in this sense emerged towards the end of the first Hijri century. Muslims first tried to understand their religion better, and after gaining a certain knowledge on this subject, they became interested in positive sciences, especially during the Abbasid period (750-1258) and 4/10. By the 19th century, they began to produce great works in these fields. In our study, we will first bring together the information in current and classical sources regarding the work done by Muslims and discuss the changes that have occurred over the centuries. In fact, the solution to the situation Muslims are in today is partly hidden in a better understanding of this period. Understanding this rise adventure experienced by Muslims throughout their history will shed significant light on our day.
