The goal of raising moral people is a phenomenon that maintains its existence in every society. The future of society is possible with the existence of people with strong and superior characters. Accordingly, the socialization of young people can be achieved with the reference of socio-religious values. This can only be done through formal or informal education that causes behavioral change in the family, educational institutions and other social institutions. Here, the issue of imparting moral character to new generations is examined theoretically within the framework of family and school, which are among the factors that are effective in the integrity of existence and the socialization process. An individual's first social environment is his family. Therefore, family is an important factor in the socialization of childhood. Since education is a planned activity, socialization, which is the process of learning social roles and expectations, is more effective on the individual. The aim of education should be the development and exaltation of moral character along with academic success. If family and school adopt academic success as the only criterion in education, selfish and one-dimensional personalities will grow up. This personality type is against the nature of both humans and society. In this regard, it is imperative that the most fundamental aspect of education focuses on moral character.
