Undoubtedly, translations play a great role in transferring a culture and civilization to the next generations and in transferring information from another civilization basin to another civilization basin. With the acceptance of Islam, translations of the Quran were made especially. These translations contributed greatly to making Turkish more mature. In addition, they are extremely important works in terms of creating the historical dictionary of Turkish. In one sense, they are works that need to be examined meticulously in order to understand how a Turkish word found meaning in that period. In our study, it is aimed to evaluate the work written in Turkish language called "Tefsîr-i Kur'ân", which is in five volumes in the Manisa Provincial Public Library, by giving examples from its vocabulary. In addition, it is aimed to evaluate each volume of the work, which is recorded as five volumes in the library, and to reach a conclusion about whether the volumes are a continuation of each other and their contents. The work we will examine is the Turkish translation and commentary of the Quran. The evaluation of the five volumes of this work, which contains the linguistic features of Old Anatolian Turkish, has been tried to be concluded in our study. To transfer one culture and civilization to other generations, in the transfer of information in civilisations pool to another civilisations pool traslations doubtlessly have an important role. With the acceptance of Islamism, especially Qur'antranslations were done. These translations played an important role to makeTurkish more mature. Moreover, they are extremely important works to formTurkish historical dictionary. With one aspect, tyey are the works which shouldbe examined carefully to understand how a Turkish word finds meaning. In ourstudy, by giving vocabulary examples it is aimed to evaluate Turkish 5 volumed‘Tefsir-i Quran’ which takes place in Manisa Public Library. Moreover, the goal is also to evaluate each volume of the work; to come to a conclusion about their contents and to decide whether they are serials or not.
