Şirût-ı salâtlar-salâtnâme, which is one of the literary genres in the branch of Turkish-Islamic Literature, is terminologically; Along with its premises such as ablution, ghusl and tayammum, the conditions of prayer, its obligations, wajibs, sunnahs, makruhs, mufsids, virtues, importance, etc. It means works that deal with issues related to the conduct of this worship in a way that the audience can understand. In addition to related topics, some works may also include Islamic and faith issues that ensure the obligation to perform prayers. From a literary perspective, there are examples of products within this scope written in prose and verse. In addition, it can be said that the texts produced through interlingual and intralingual translation, rewriting and transferring prose into verse constitute a sub-branch of this literary genre, which is related to fiqh and has a religious structure. In addition to şurut-ı salât, which is more commonly used to define the literary genre, the concept of "salatnâme" can also be used for works that are copyrighted (original) to emphasize that they are written in verse. In this context, the study is with the Turkish Islamic Literature methodology; It is about the salatname named Nazm-ı Nefîs, written by Şumnulu Hâfız Hilmî Efendi (d. 1200/1785-86) in 1190/1776-77, which is considered to be a copyright. In the study, first of all, information about Hilmî Efendi's life and works is given. The evaluations made about his works in previous studies (such as that these works are not original and may have been produced in the type of intralingual translation-rewriting) are reconsidered in the light of the new documents and findings obtained, especially with information and examples about the theory of intralingual translation, and opinions about these evaluations are expressed. It should also be noted that accessing the individual, limited copies of Hilmî Efendi's Verse Secavend and Nazm-ı Nefîs is important in expressing opinions. Afterwards, Nazm-ı Nefîs is introduced by examining its name, date of writing, reason for copyright, purpose, purpose and sources, including discussions on intralingual translation, rewriting and prose transfer activities. On the other hand, in a thesis study, a possibility was expressed that Nazm-ı Nefîs might have been produced through an intralingual translation activity, like Hilmî Efendi's work called Zafer, due to the presence of a prose text about prayer in the margin of the printed copy. Therefore, in this study, Nazm-ı Nefîs and the related text were compared and examined from various aspects, and it was also discussed whether Nazm-ı Nefîs was produced by taking another text as a source. In addition to the introduction and evaluations, Hilmî Efendi's salatname was analyzed in detail in terms of its form and content. In addition, under a separate title under the section, the forms and contents of Nazm-ı Nefîs and similar salatnames in terms of volume and content were evaluated by comparing them. In this way, the place of the work, which is the focus of the study, within the genre was tried to be determined. During the identification phase, it was seen that Nazm-ı Nefîs was at a separate and remarkable point within its genre, especially in terms of its content. Finally, in the study, a detailed description of the only identified copy of Nazm-ı Nefîs was made, some of its features in terms of spelling were mentioned, some principles observed in text construction were pointed out and the translation text was included. The purpose of the study; The aim is to introduce Nazm-ı Nefîs, which was written by the author, who is also an expert in the science of recitation, about prayer, which is an indispensable pillar of the Islamic religion and one of the main subjects of fiqh, to determine whether it was produced as a result of intralingual translation and writing activity, and to bring it to light by transferring it to today's letters with the transcription method. The importance of working in connection with the aforementioned objectives; It is thought that this is due to the fact that, as a result of the findings and evaluations made with the discovery of the Nazm-ı Nefîs text, it will correct the information about Hilmî Efendi's works at some points and complete it at some points. One of the literary genres in Turkish-Islamic Literature, shurūṭ-i ṣalāts/ṣalātnāmes (conditions of prayer), in the context of the term, refers to books that deal with issues related to the performance of this prayer/worship, especially the conditions, its fards (obligations), wajibs (compulsions), sunnahs (the acts of the Prophet Muhammad), makruhs (reprehensible practices), mufsids (situations that invalidate), virtues, importance etc. of the prayer, along with its prerequisites such as wudu (ablution), ghusl (having a bath with the intention of worship) and tayammum (ablution with soil for a person who cannot find water), in a way that the addressee audience can understand. In addition to related topics, some works may also include Islamic and faith-based issues that provide the obligation of prayer. In literal terms, there are both process and verse examples of Works that fall within this scope. In addition, it can be said that the texts produced through interlingual and intra-linguistic translation, rewriting and transcribing the process into verse constitute a sub-branch of this literary genre which is related to fiqh (canon law) and has a religious structure. In addition to shurūṭ-ı ṣalāt, which is more commonly used in defining “the literary genre”, the term of "ṣalātnāme" can also be used for works that have the characteristic of original in order to emphasize that they are written in verse. In this context, with the methodology of Turkish-Islamic Literature. This study focuses on the ṣalātnāme of Shumnulu Ḥāfıẓ Ḥilmī Efendi (d. 1200/1785-86), titled Naẓm-ı Nefı̄s, which was written in 1190/1776-77 and is thought to be original work. In the study, first of all, information about Ḥilmı̄ Efendi's life and works is given. On the other hand, in a one of the thesis studies, the possibility that Naẓm-ı Nefı̄s may have been produced through interlingual translation activities like Ḥilmī Efendi's Ẓafer, due to the presence of a prose text about prayer in the margin of the printed copy, was also mentioned. In this way, the place of the work, which is the focus of the study, within the genre is tried to be determined. At the stage of determination, it was seen that Nazm-ı Nefîs is at a separate and remarkable point within its genre, especially in terms of content. Finally, the study provides a detailed presentation of the only identified manuscript of Nazm-ı Nefîs, mentions some of its features in terms of spelling/orthography, draws attention to some principles observed in the construction of the text and includes a transcription. The aim of this study is to introduce Nazm-ı Nefîs, which is written by the author, who is also an expert in the science of Qira'ah (recitation?), on prayer, which is one of the main subjects of fiqh and a pillar of Islam that cannot be abandoned, to determine whether it was produced as a result of interlingual translation and to reveal it by transferring it to today's letters with the transcription method. In connection with the above-mentioned purposes, the importance of the study is thought to come from the fact that as a result of the determinations and evaluations made with the revealing of the text of Nazm-ı Nefîs, the information about Ḥilmī Efendi's works will be corrected at some points and completed at some other points.
