Abstract To direct people to truth and goodness; Works written with the aim of raising moral individuals who are useful to society are called nasihat-nâme. "nasihat-nâme", which is formed by combining the word "nasihat", which is derived from the Arabic root "nasaha", meaning "pend, advice and mev'ize", and the Persian word "nâme", meaning "book, letter, edict", is the general name of religious and moral works. Throughout history, various activities have been carried out in order to prevent people from doing situations and behaviors that are thought to be wrong. Undoubtedly, the most common of these activities is The most important of these is the understanding of giving advice. Therefore, advice is a necessity today, as it was in the past, for the maintenance of social order. For this reason, community leaders, clergy and scholars frequently gave advice to the societies under their influence. These works, written to prevent people from bad paths and to guide them to the good and halal path, have a wide range of subjects. Nasihat-nâmes, also known as enderz-nâme, were generally written in the form of masnavi. There are many examples of this genre in verse and prose. In our literature, works of this type emerged with the acceptance of Islam by the Turks. After this period, works of the nasihat-nâme/pend-nâme type continued their existence with different examples until the Republican period. Hâcib's Kutadgu Bilig and Edip Ahmed's Atabetü'l-Hakâyık are the first examples in our Turkish-Islamic Literature. In the Anatolian field, the first examples of the advice-nâme genre began to be given in the 13th century, such as Ahmet Fakih's Çarh-nâme, Âşık Paşa's Garîb-nâme and Yunus Emre's. Risâletü'n-Nushiyye is the most important one. One of the advice-books written in the recent period belongs to Kilisli Hâmî, who lived in the late 19th century and the first half of the 20th century. The father of the poet, who was born in Kilis, was Abdü'n-nâfî' Efendi. He started his madrasa education in Kilis and then went to Aleppo for a while. Hâmî, who made his living by farming, died in 1957. The poet's elder brother, Lütfullah Hâzım from Kilis, was also a poet like him. He was influenced by the Divan Literature poets of Southeastern Anatolia. The influence of Nâbî and Sünbülzâde Vehbî is also seen in his poems. Apart from this work, his "Nasihat-nâme", which we have identified separately, consists of 82 couplets. The work is registered in the Ankara National Library Manuscripts Collection with the archive number 06 Mil Yz A 7729. The main purposes of the Nasihat-nâmes are dated 1347/1931. Although they are advice and advice, they also show some diversity of subjects. One of these subjects is the advice given by fathers to their children. The most well-known works written on this subject are the works of 17th century Divan poet Nâbî and Lutfiyye of 18th century Divan poet Sünbülzâde Vehbî. The common feature of these two works written in the form of Mesnevi is; Another of the advice-nâmes written by fathers to their children is Kilisli Hâmî's Nasihat-nâme, which was written in the early 20th century. Like these two poets, Kilisli Hâmî also gave some advice to young people through his son. In this study, we will focus on Kilisli Hâmî's Nasihat-nâme. First, information about the author's life will be given, and then the form and content of his work will be mentioned. On the one hand, the author wrote his advice book to his son, and on the other hand, the work will be compared with Hayriyye and Lutfiyye masnavis, since he was influenced by the advice approach of Nâbî and Sünbülzâde. In the last part, the transcribed text of the advice book will be given.
