Notes Learning Arabic has been extremely important for Muslim nations as it is the language of the basic sources of Islam, especially the Quran and hadiths. Great attention has been paid within the classical education systems of Muslims to teaching Arabic, which is called the science of instruments, in order to learn basic religious sciences. Efforts to learn Arabic correctly and preserve the language structure began among Arabs before other Muslim nations. The first studies on determining the grammatical structure and rules of the Arabic language in order to understand the meaning and message of the Quran correctly and to prevent its meaning changes and losses were carried out by the Prophet himself. It is generally accepted that it was started by Ali. Later, especially with the changing social conditions, studies on the Arabic language increased. Many works have been written about grammar and syntax, which are sciences related to the grammar of Arabic. One of the most famous of these works is Abdulkâhir-i Cürcânî's work called el-Avâmilü'l-Mi'e. The work in question has been one of the reference books on the subject of grammar of Muslim societies for centuries, and the work has been translated into many languages, with many commentaries, annotations, taliks, etc. has been written. Again, al-Avamil has also been translated into different languages in order to easily memorize and keep in mind the rules he mentioned. In this study, a verse translation of al-Avamil - the author of which is unknown - is discussed. The only identified copy of the work is registered in the Manisa Provincial Public Library with the inventory number 45 Hk 6943/2. Before the poem, there is a section in which the Arabic commentary of Cürcânî's work is made. No author, copyist or date record was found in the work. The work, which features Old Anatolian Turkish features, consists of 160 couplets. All the couplets in the poem rhyme among themselves, that is, they show the mesnevi feature, but two meters are used: “fâilâtün fâilâtün fâilün” and “fâilâtün fâilâtün fâilâtün fâilün”. These meters are not distributed in a certain order, but in various ways within the text according to the topics. The didactic and rote-based feature of the work is dominant. The most concrete indication of this feature is that a significant number of verses begin with "know/know that". A significant part of the couplets consist of words and prepositions directly related to grammar rules or rules; In some verses, advice is given to memorize the subject described in the verses, stating that not knowing the subject in question would be a serious fault and that learning it would make the person successful. In the poem, the topics are briefly explained, and especially the issues that need to be memorized and remembered are stated. With this feature, it is aimed for students to easily memorize the information they will need in future courses and benefit from it when necessary. In general, it can be seen that prosody is used successfully in the work. This is important as it shows that the author has mastered the prosody. However, it is still noticeable that some savings have been made that can be considered as aruz flaws. It is seen that puns are also used in a remarkable way in the poem, where redifs are made with some Turkish words from time to time. In the work, firstly, the words divided into three parts as noun, verb and letter are defined and the definition and characteristics of marife and nekre, müennes and müzekker, mebnî-i asl, mureb and mebnî are given respectively. In the work where the agent, the agent, the adverb and the exception particle illa are explained, the subjects of deuteronomy and cem-i sâlim are focused on for a relatively long time. Then, infinitives and letter-i cers were explained and the genres were explained. In this way, after explaining the important features of the word-related issues and explaining the features of the relevant structures, the subject of the sentence was discussed. In this context, nouns, verbs, adverbs and conditionals are mentioned, but no details are given. Sentences that are mureb in the neighborhood and sentences that are not local in the irab are mentioned. Then, the definitions and types of 'amil-i mavizî' and 'amil-i kıyâsî' were expressed. The work is important because it is a successful concise verse translation of el-Avamil, who has an important place in the madrasah tradition.
