Notes What is written about the history of Islamic thought is often shaped by the biased and misleading information that history conveys to us, rather than historical and social realities. Naturally, the evaluations made without taking into account historical and social realities, as well as the general rules of sociology and even economics, could not produce a correct result and a corresponding effect, since they were far from scientific. Approaches that evaluate the thoughts of sects, especially in the form of belief, read the thoughts of members of other sects to which they belong and sometimes marginalize them, in order to reject and falsify them, instead of correctly understanding them. The theological approach, shaped after Ash'ari and within the Ash'arite system, is positioned on a basis that can be expressed as a rejection of Mu'tazila. Naturally, rather than facts, it has been shaped as a structure that can be described as Ahl al-Hadith, which tries to find answers to all problems through evaluations of a certain period of history. It is certain that the problems of every period of the dynamic society also create a dynamic structure. When we look at the formation process of the science of Kalam, there is a perspective that takes social problems into consideration and produces solution suggestions in this manner. The science of kalam, which has continued its existence for a long time, has become a discipline almost entirely confined to theory in the historical process. With the modern period, new problems and new areas of discussion have emerged, and discussions have been made with a new knowledge method and methodology. In order for the science of Kalam to regain its original identity, the necessity of developing a new method and methodology was expressed and concepts such as New ilm-i kalam and social kalam were put forward. We can say that during its initial emergence, theology was intertwined with life, it was shaped according to the social and political, and the solutions were produced by taking the reality of the society into consideration. In this sense, although the naming is not like this, we can say that the application corresponds to social discourse. Vasil b. We aimed to show that, in the case of Ata, the five basic principles of Mu'tazila were actually created with a perspective that can be described as social theology.
