When Islam came to the Arabian peninsula, it brought about radical changes in beliefs, ideas and morals. As a result of these changes, a generation with stronger morals has emerged. Because "I was sent to complete good morals." The phrase can be seen as a reflection of this. With Islam, people were given a mission and their questions about the meaning of life changed. Change has been effective both in human behavior and in people's ability to transform knowledge into action. Thus, it has a function that affects life. One of the places where the effects of Islam are seen is Arabic poetry. Because poetry had a very important place in Arabs, especially in that period. Poets have benefited from the eloquence of the Quran in their poems. Various influences on both the meaning and style of the Quran are reflected in his poems. Especially the rich conceptual content and story narratives in the Quran are the reasons for this effect. While the literary heritage, history and legends coming from ignorance before Islam constituted the sources of poetry, with Islam, poetry has a new and eloquent source. In addition, under the influence of Islam, subjects such as jihad, praise and worship have entered the poems, thus the enriched field has become even more important. "Uzrî love" poems, which express chaste love, are among the places where what Islam says about morality is seen most clearly and most beautifully. It takes its name from a desert tribe where many such poems were written. Its subject includes love based on virtues such as avoiding sins and preserving chastity. In this article, the story "Leyla and Mecnun" was chosen because it is one of the most important examples of this style of poetry. Because Kays b., the poet of the “Leyla and Mecnun” divan. Here and there, this love, the pain he suffered from love, what he felt; He explained it with the principles laid down by Islam and the concepts it brought or transformed. The subject of the study is Kays b. It is an examination of Mülevvah's divan through the Qur'an and Islamic narratives. The aim of this study is to reveal the effects of Islam and the Quran in the poet's divan "Leyla and Mecnun". This type of poetry was chosen to show how this poem, which already contained moral elements before Islam, transformed under the influence of Islam. Qualitative research method was used in this study. Using the content analysis technique, the poem was scanned from beginning to end and the findings were classified. In this context, some ideas and phrases that were influenced by Islam were revealed in the divan of Kays, which is an example of uzri poetry. The words in question were examined under two separate headings: meaning and style. Regarding the meaning, worship such as prayer, fasting, pilgrimage, issues such as dhikr and morality; In terms of style, it has been determined that the compositions used to describe the words 'tasamis', which means "the poet quotes by translating the meaning of the Quran", iktibas, which means 'placing an expression from the Quran into his poem', and 'Quranic expressions, which mean groups of words', are used in his poetry. In this regard, he included concepts such as accident and fate, resurrection after death, apocalypse, belief in Allah and angels, as well as pilgrimage, prayer and salat regarding the creed. In addition, different social issues and Qur'anic compositions such as repentance and oath were also discussed in this divan. Based on the expressions he uses in his couplets, it is seen that the poet has adopted the principles of the Quran and has a good command of the subjects of Islam. Even though this was the case, he sometimes used these topics in a way that was contrary to the principles of Islam, to show the magnitude of his love and pain.
