Notes
Hz. Sufism, which began to emerge as a "strict ascetic life" about a century after the death of the Prophet, began in the third century of the Hijri. It did not appear as “science” until the 10th century. Hijri III. The various views expressed by Sufis on religious issues since the 16th century have caused the reaction of many groups, especially jurists and hadith scholars. As a result, Sufis, who had not previously focused on determining the scientific value of Sufism or its place in religious sciences, had to defend Sufism as a "science" against the tradition of fiqh-theology and hadith. As a result, the Sufis began to study in Hijri IV. Since the end of the century, they began to compose works based on the Quran and hadith and to express and defend their thoughts through these works. In this paper, this process will be tried to be revealed through the evaluations in the master's thesis prepared by the author.
