The sermon, one of these trainings, is to teach religious knowledge to the society by addressing all issues that concern Muslims; To help individuals create positive behavioral changes in people and to sensitize the target audience in terms of faith, morality and social awareness. Individuals who were born approximately in the same period, share the characteristics of the same period, and have similar responsibilities are defined as members of the same generation. Individuals born and raised between 1990 and 2015 are called Generation Z individuals. Individuals of this generation have characteristics such as using the internet, liking technology, familiar with visuals, being productive and egalitarian. This situation has brought about differences in the socialization, life habits and learning styles of Generation Z. Non-formal religious education should help individuals improve themselves and update their knowledge, taking into account these differences between generations. For this reason, non-formal religious education needs to develop different methods and activities taking into account the needs of Generation Z. In this context, the quality of Friday sermons from the perspective of Generation Z becomes important. Based on this, Friday sermons were evaluated to examine the attitudes of Generation Z towards Friday sermons. Our research was conducted with a descriptive research design to examine Generation Z's perceptions of Friday Sermons. The population of the research consists of 175 individuals between the ages of 14-25 in Seydişehir, Beyşehir district of Konya Province. Data were collected through the 'Individual Identification Form' and 'Information Form on Friday Sermons' prepared by the researchers. In the study, IBM SPSS (IBM Statistical Package for Social Sciences Corp.; Armonk, NY, USA) 25.0 program was used to analyze the data. While evaluating the research data, frequency distribution (number, percentage) was used for categorical variables and descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation) were used for numerical variables. The average age of the participants in the research is 17.04. It was observed that the majority of the participants were high school students. In the research, it was seen that Generation Z participated in Friday sermons, they expected hope from the sermons, and they were positively affected. However, it was concluded that the topics in the Friday sermons did not address local and current issues, that they did not remember the topics explained, that the same topics were repeated, and that they were not intended for young people. In addition, it was determined that there were problems due to the presentation of the sermons, their duration and the approach of the imams.
