Renewal, modernity, post-modernism, contemporary...etc. in literature, especially in poetry, took up a large part of my literary and poetic interests until I specialized in postgraduate studies (Master’s) in this subject, so I chose the subject of renewing the style in language, image, and poetic music for the poems and poems of (Farhad Al-Shakli), who is one of the pioneers of the Kufri group for the renewal of poetry, like the group (Rwanta - Al-Marsad) in Sulaymaniyah, whose path was led by the great poet (Sherko Bekas). Innovation in this school and within the following levels: 1) Language / where long, synthetic sentences with interrogative, conditional, and exclamatory sentences were used, in a new metaphorical style, and new metaphorical quasi-sentences. 2) The use of light poetic meters approved in free verse, in addition to the group’s mixing of reptiles and light sea bugs (hazej and sand) with the use of local folklore or silabic fragmentation. 3) They relied on the means of forming the poetic image - based on simile, direct description, embodiment, renewal, correspondence of the senses, imagination, beyond imagination (fantasy), and the artistic image. When I say beyond imagination, I do not mean surrealism, which in itself is an artistic school that appeared at the time in Europe. I believe that something important and worthy of attention has happened in contemporary Kurdish poetry at the hands of the renewal group and at the individual level, because the winds of renewal have blown from America and Europe since the nineteenth century, and the literature of the peoples under the rule of the Ottoman Empire was influenced by it, so Kurdish literature had a fair share of it. This does not mean that Kurdish poetry did not lie in the womb of its poetic birth, the inevitability of renewal. From these standpoints, I prepared this research under the title (The March of Renewal in Kurdish Poetry) in an academic style. Its purpose is general, as the preparation of these researches and studies is the core of the university professor’s work, and in particular, as I present it as research for academic promotion. This research consists of (three) sections, and the first and second axes each consist of (four) axes, and the third section consists of (three) axes. Perhaps I may come up with something new that was not mentioned before, and this is the essence of the research. The sources that I used in preparing this research are diverse and sufficient for the purpose, and I adopted the method of analyzing what was stated in the sources and references, commenting on them, and enriching them with what brings benefit and analysis, and requires clarification as a critical and evaluative study in order to come out of them with valuable results that lead to or fulfill the desired purpose.
