Religious texts, which have an important place in social life, have been among the sociological elements that have affected people throughout history. In this context, this issue has been taken into consideration throughout the history of Islamic science and culture, and efforts have been made to influence the addressee by being inspired by the Quran and the Sunnah, especially in literary works dealing with moral values. Rhetorical sciences such as meânî, beyân and bedî', which are among the disciplines of the Arabic language and literature that developed and matured in the Islamic period, emerged within the framework of the Qur'anic sciences and evolved in the historical process. For this reason, other Islamic sciences, especially the rhetorical sciences in question, continued to be in contact with the Holy Quran after the maturation phase, as in the beginning. For this reason, the Holy Quran has always been a source of inspiration for these sciences. Thus, many works written in the field of Islamic sciences referred to the Quran and expressed the main topics they touched upon by referring to the verses of the Quran. One of these works is the work called Nehcu'l-enâm li nef'i'l-'avâm, which includes the subjects of morality, belief and etiquette and was written by Molla Halîl es-Si'irdî, one of the late Ottoman scholars. In this study, the mentioned work of Molla Halîl es-Si'irdî was discussed in the context of quotation from the Quran and the following points were touched upon: It started with a brief introduction about the life of Molla Halîl es-Si'irdî and information was given about the main works of Si'irdî in Islamic sciences. Afterwards, information about the lexical and conceptual meaning of the word iktibas is given, and the types of this figure of speech and its importance in Arabic literature are pointed out and explained with examples. Later, the issue of quoting from the Quran was examined in his work titled Nehcu'l-enâm, written by Molla Halîl es-Si'irdî, who has many works in different fields, especially in the Arabic language. In this context, Si'irdî's applications regarding the art of quoting from the Quran were investigated in the aforementioned work. In this context, in the work in question, an effort has been made to determine the practices related to the art of quotation, one of the arts of muhassinât-ılâfzî (arts that beautify the wording) of the science of bedi', which is one of the sub-disciplines of Arabic rhetoric. In this context, the verses in which quotations from the Quran were made were identified in Si'irdî's work and the verses in question were given with their meanings. In addition, the opinions of the commentators regarding the verses in question were conveyed by referring to tafsir sources. Then, by comparing the contexts of the expressions mentioned by the author in the Qur'an with the contexts in the couplets in which they are mentioned, the relationship between them was tried to be revealed. In addition, in the work in question, sample applications of literary arts such as "tazmîn, akd and telmîh", which are included in the semantic network of citation and evaluated in connection with citation in some rhetorical sources, have been researched and tried to be determined. Efforts have been made to determine which literary art the identified expressions fall within and which verses are referred to by these literary arts. Considerations and evaluations regarding the verses indicated by these literary arts are included. Religious texts, which have an important place in social life, have affected people more than other sociological elements throughout history. In this context, attention has been paid to this issue in the history of Islam and it has been tried to influence the addressee by being inspired by the Qur'ān and Sunnah, especially in literary works dealing with moral values. Rhetorical sciences such as maʿānī, bayān and badīʿ, which are among the disciplines of the Arabic language and literature emerged within the framework of the Qur'ānic sciences and evolved in the historical process. For this reason, like other Islamic sciences, the rhetorical sciences, continued to be in contact with the Qur'ān. For this reason, the Qur'ān has always been a source of inspiration for these sciences. Thus, many works written in the field of Islamic sciences referred to the Qur'ān and expressed the main topics they touched upon by referring to the verses of the Qur'ān. One of these works is the work called Nahj al-anām, which includes the subjects of morality, belief and etiquette and was written by Mullah Khalīl al-Siʿirdī, one of the late Ottoman scholars. This study, which is handled within this framework, starts with a brief introduction to the life and works of Mullah Khalīl al-Siʿirdī. Then, it delves into the lexical and conceptual meaning of the word iqtibās, discussing its varieties and its importance in Arabic literature. In addition, literary techniques such as al-taḍmīn, al-ʿaqd and al-talmīh related to the art of iqtibās are mentioned. Later, in the work called Nahj al-anām written by al-Siʿirdī, the issue of how much he benefited from the Qur'ān in terms of citation is examined. In addition, the opinions of the commentators regarding the verses in question were conveyed by referring to tafsīr sources. In this context, the applications of al-Siʿirdī on the art of iqtibās from the Qur'ān are investigated as well. In this framework, the study tries to determine the explanations about the art of iqtibās, which is one of the al-muḥassenāt al-lafẓīyya (arts that beautify the words) of the science of badīʿ. The meanings of the verses in al-Siʿirdī work that contain quotations from the Qur'ān are explored together with their translations. Additionally, the study aims to identify applications related to literary techniques such as al-taḍmīn, al-ʿaqd and al-talmīh that are associated to quotation shedding light on which verses are referred to using these literary techniques and offering insights on the subject.
