A work on the principles of specific gravity probably falsely attributed to the mathematician Euclid of Alexandria (Εὐκλείδης; Euclid; fl. 300 BC). The translation, presumably from the Greek now lost, is said to have been corrected by Thābit ibn Qurrah (Thābit ibn Qurrah; d. 901; f. 98v, line 3, transcribed below). Two fragmentary Latin translations of roughly the first half of this treatise (up to about the end of f. 99v) exist under the title
