Notes	Arabic version of the This habit (Περὶ οἰκήσεων; Book of Dwellings), a work on astronomy by Theodosius of Bithynia (Theodosius; Θεοδοìσιος; c 160-c 100 BC), translated from the Greek by Qusṭā ibn Lūqā (Qusta ibn Luke; c 820-912). The text contains twelve diagrams. The copy was completed at Yazd in Rajab 1014/November 1605 by Ibn ‘Abd al-Raḥīm Abū al-Qāsim Yaḥyá al-Astar’ābādī (Ibn Abd al-Rahim Abu al-Qasim Yahya al-Astarabadi; see colophon Section at the end of a manuscript text. , f. 82r, lines 9-11, transcribed below). The title page (f. 7r) and f. 76r give the author's name as Theodosius. Both the title page and the title appearing on f. 76r were written by a hand later than that of the main scribe. Beginnings (f. 76v, lines 2-4): The book of Theodosius on dwellings was quoted by Qusta bin Luke in twelve forms For those whose dwellings are below the North Pole, the half of the sphere of all is forever visible to them, and the half of the sphere of all that is hidden from them is forever hidden from them. And none of the stars rises from them or disappears from them... Ends (f. 82r, lines 6-7): The sun moves it in two-thirds of days, so the day at the time of the summer solstice is two-thirds of a day and it appears to us that there is still a remainder Day until the rest of the night, all of it, and that is what we wanted to explain Colophon Section at the end of a manuscript text. (f. 82r, lines 8-12): The book was completed with God’s help, good success, prayers and peace Upon his Prophet Muhammad and his pure family in the town of Yazd Rajab Al-Marjab in the year one thousand fourteen and its writer Abu Al-Qasim Yahya Al-Astarabadi May God forgive him and his parents, Amen
