Compendium of Prophetic medicine (
al-ṭibb al-nabawī
) by Khayr al-Dīn Khiḍr ibn Maḥmūd ibnʿUmar al-ʿAṭūfī al-Marzīfūnī (Khair ad-Din Khidr ibn Mahmud ibn Umar al-Atufi al-Marzifuni, d. 1541), dedicated to the Ottoman sultan Bāyezīd II (Bayezid Thani, reg. 1481-1512). Brockelmann (GALS II, 639) gives the title as
Rawḍ al-insān fī tadbīr ṣiḥḥat al-abdān
(Training humans in managing bodily health).
Ff. 164v-166v contain an epitome (summary) of
al-Manhaj al-sawī wa-al-manhal al-rawī fī al-ṭibb al-nabawi
̄ (Al-Mahjul Al-Sawi wa Al-Manhil Al-Rawi fi Prophetic Medicine), a treatise on Prophetic medicine by Jalāl al-Dīn ʻAbd al-Raḥmān ibn al-Kamāl al-Suyūṭī (Jalāl al-Din Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Kamal al-Suyuti, d. 1505).
Begins (f. 1v, lines 2-5):
The poor says to God the rich
Khidr bin Mahmoud bin Omar Al-Atoufi. Praise be to God, the Sufficient One, and prayers be upon His Prophet, the Healer
And upon those who follow him with righteousness until the Day of Judgment and Balance, and after
Moderation is to the body what a human being is to a human being
Ends (f. 164v, lines 5-9):
...the heart health
It entails a formal validity that is appropriate for the believer and suitable for him to attain
Maqamat, so clean the frozen ones in them with moderate hunger, is necessary for you
God Almighty willing, there are matters that are at least completely correct with knowledge

God Almighty, the Powerful. Praise be to God who guided us to this and what we were

And upon the angels who are close to Him and upon those who obey God from among the people of the heavens
